Executive (or equivalent title) (20+ years)
Allison+Partners is currently seeking a dynamic and highly strategic EVP who will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategy and direction of clients in the B2B tech sector. This person will play a significant role and lead business development, partner with clients, collaborate with teams and establish client relationship development plans. You will provide senior level consultancy to staff on a regular basis and lead a group of clients in delivering exemplary results for our accounts.
This position will develop and maintain positive relationships with senior-level client contacts and mentor our internal team members.
You will consistently hold staff accountable for performance and suggest process improvements and positive change initiatives. A primary goal for this role will be to grow business prospects in the B2B space while expanding the scope of work with current clients. You will be responsible for leading new business outreach process to win business. We expect this person to effectively manage staff utilization to meet profitability targets while committing to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills to pursue goals.
Business development: As a senior most person on the team, the Practice Lead will be responsible for deﬁning and maintaining A+P’s brand within their market, positioning the ﬁrm as the go-to resource for clients needing PR and creative services. You will be expected to proactively maintain a robust new business pipeline, develop a roster of in-market contacts to help with lead generation, and participate in various networking and marketing opportunities. There is also the expectation that you will be involved in industry groups and associations, contribute to A+P’s blog, and be a spokesperson for select interviews highlighting your expertise in PR trades.
We expect this role to maintain a robust new business pipeline. You will also be expected to participate in and support new business eﬀorts led by senior leaders of other oﬃces, which may include writing proposals, developing PowerPoint presentations, conducting appropriate research as necessary and presenting in-person to prospective clients.
Client management: The EVP will be responsible for leading a book of business with the team’s support. As senior counsel, you will be responsible for ensuring that your respective account teams are meeting the business and communications objectives as well as identifying growth opportunities. This role is expected to maintain regular contact with existing clients, meeting with them in-person on a regular basis to further build and nurture a strong relationship.
Staff development: This role is responsible for nurturing a professional, entrepreneurial culture consistent with A+P values and providing leadership and professional mentoring to staﬀ. In addition, they will work alongside the Head of B2B Technology on managing the billability of each team member. You must also work with the management team on supporting work-life balance for all colleagues as well as triaging emerging staff concerns or problem areas effectively and immediately.
-A highly goals-driven self-starter with 15+ years’ experience running a technology agency or a reputable technology practice
